Charles (Chuck) Wing
Chuck and his team make up the
broadcasting arm of Renaissance Communications. Known as
"Wing Broadcasting" the team writes, produces and
syndicates everything from ten second to thirty minute television,
radio and cable messages. In addition, the Wing Broadcasting team
are experts in the development and implementation of sales
promotions between retail clients and broadcast stations.
A major part of Wing
Broadcasting is also dedicated to media placement. Chuck, who
has more than 25 years as a sales manager and general manager of
television stations is an expert in the negotiation of media
buys. In 2002, Wing Broadcasting placed more than $6,000,000 in
media buys throughout the southeast for clients such as Kauffman
Tire, North Atlanta National Bank, Tech Experts, Comcast, MTV,
Spectrum Services and several political candidates.
Chuck is president and founder of Wing
Broadcasting but prior to establishing the company he was
President GM of WVTM-TV in Birmingham, AL; Vice President
Marketing/Sales at WAGA-TV in Atlanta; VP General Manager of WSYX-TV
in Columbus, Ohio and GSM of WCIX-TV in Miami, FL.
In 1998, Chuck won an Emmy Award for the
production and distribution of "Driving Ambition" a
thirty-minute program about the teen driving problem.
Throughout his career Chuck has been involved
with many public service organizations such as the United Way,
YWCA, Boy Scouts, Lung Association, National Association of
Broadcasters, the American Academy of Arts and Science and the
Georgia and South Carolina Broadcasters Association.
Chuck graduated from Michigan State University,
is a veteran of the US Army and father of two sons.
He and his wife Ellen live in Dunwoody, GA.
