Stan Schnitzer has more than 35 years of
experience in newspaper reporting, trade magazine editing and
industrial/technology public relations and advertising. He has been
a sole practitioner for 23 years, primarily handling
business-to-business public relations, advertising, web site,
brochure and newsletter activities primarily for an industrial and
technology client base.
In the industrial area, Stan provides public

inspection in the metal processing, printing/converting and
papermaking industries. |

the military and for police, homeland security, fire and
emergency response organizations. |

LabWize Educational Society is an
Atlanta-based client that holds six seminars annually for the
designers, builders and operators of environmentally efficient
laboratories and clean rooms for industrial, research and
educational organizations.
Stan has provided newsletter, web content and
feature writing/placement services for a company specializing in
cellular-based credit card processing, an international operator of
petroleum product and chemical tankers, a regional distributor of
modular tradeshow exhibits, international telecommunications
services, insurance services, cogeneration system manufacturers and
distributors, industrial safety management, industrial radiography,
soil remediation technology, and an accounting firm.
Stan was the managing editor of two trade
journals, WORLD CONSTRUCTION and MINING EQUIPMENT INTERNATIONAL,
directing the magazines’ coverage and staff. Before that, he was
editor of ELECTRIC PERSPECTIVES for the Edison Electric Institute.
He did corporate public relations with Detroit Edison Co. and agency
PR with J. Walter Thompson and Burson-Marsteller before spending a
year as a freelance writer in Iran, Jordan and Israel for business
and industrial trade journals. He began his career as a newspaper
reporter with the BAY CITY TIMES and SAGINAW NEWS, covering a
nuclear power plant licensing hearing and developing a talent for
writing about complex legal, environmental and technical issues for
the public.
Stan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Journalism from Ohio University.
