Inviz Network, Inc. Advanced Wireless Broadband Is Choice at Santa Monica’s Hotel Oceana for Guest Communications Services Upgrade

Premium Service Hotel Activates Unique Tier of Wireless Internet Broadband Services

SANTA MONICA, CA., April 1, 2003, (PR Newswire) --- Hotel Oceana, one of southern California’s hottest boutique hotels, has activated the nation’s most advanced level of high-speed wireless broadband Internet service (Wi-Fi) in a move to upgrade its guest communications services offering.

In a joint announcement with Inviz Network, Inc., (www.inviz.net), the 63-suite property located in Santa Monica, California said it selected Inviz because its service far surpasses other industry options, said Seth Horowitz, General Manager of Hotel Oceana. "Our clientele demands premium service levels and we recognize that only a superior wireless Internet provider can fulfill this promise," Mr. Horowitz said. "Inviz gives us another way to foster even greater guest satisfaction."

For Inviz Network, the announcement marks a continuation of its national hospitality industry rollout, said Dan Lang, president, Inviz Network, Inc. "We are up and running at major hotels and are preparing a long list of blue chip properties for similar guest communication service upgrades," Mr. Lang said. Other Inviz Network systems are currently operating at The Radisson-Huntley Hotel and Hotel Carmel, which are also located in Santa Monica. Last week, Inviz entered a similar agreement with the Renaissance – Los Angeles Airport Hotel and will shortly commence service there.

Using the most current wireless technologies and proprietary Inviz Network capabilities, the company gives hospitality property interests and their guests access to the Internet at speeds far greater than with any other telephone company or cable television access provider, Mr. Lang said. In addition, he said his company plans to announce other hotel access contracts shortly.

Inviz Network high speed wireless broadband Internet service permits download speeds of up to 20 times faster and upload speeds of approximately 100 times faster than phone company DSL or cable, which virtually eliminates delays in accessing digital media and all other on-line needs, according to the company.

"Hospitality managers gain a powerful new guest service amenity that totally outperforms competitive services, while opening a reliable and important new revenue stream for their properties," Mr. Lang added. "Our service provides an immediate upgrade by expanding revenue and profit opportunities as well as enhancing guest communications to a completely new level."

Inviz said its service differs from others because it utilizes its own high capacity direct connection to the worldwide web and does not use any portion of a hotel property’s existing telecommunications gateways or connections from third party resellers. In addition, the firm said its service offers up to a dedicated 20Mbs of bandwidth to each hotel facility with maximum-security wireless connections available anywhere on the property.

The company said development activities for its services are underway across the nation at hotel properties operating under the Radisson, Renaissance, Marriott, Sheraton and Crowne Plaza banners.
